Have you seen the latest Mcdonalds advertisement?

I happened to catch a Mcdonalds advertisement on TV today.

It was about a lady who showed a string of credit cards and asking if any of the cards would entitle her to any discounts, only to be given a negative answer by the cashier.

And of course, Mcdonalds was trying to promote that saving money needs not be so difficult, just eat Mcdonalds because they are offering their burgers for only $2.

Being the first time seeing it, it was an entertaining advertisement (to me). I mean, who still put their credit cards in a one whole string and display it? This is such an outdated move but entertaining and reminiscing nonetheless.

I won’t comment about Mcdonalds’ aim of this advertisment but I have to comment that eating at Mcdonalds is not the only way to save money and that saving money needs not be difficult as what the advertisement is portraying. While saving money is not difficult, it does require a bit of effort and know-how. And there are several ways to save money, knowing how to use your credit card is one of them and if you just take some effort to understand the privileges of the cards, pick one or two that fits your lifestyle and you are on your way.

And this is the aim of this blog, coupled with proper money management skills.
