I came across a quote today. Actually, it’s not the first time I saw this quote but felt like doing a sharing.
Quoted from Jim Rohn – “Shortly after I met my mentor he asked me, ‘Mr. Rohn, how much money have you saved and invested over the last six years?’ And I said, ‘None.’ He then asked, ‘Who sold you on that plan?’” — Jim Rohn
Take a moment to think about this. If you have been saving and investing somewhat, good for you. If not, decide if you want to carry on with this plan.
Only YOU can decide if you want to make that change.
For me, I’m just glad that in a twist of fate, I was introduced to beyond the common financial tools of saving deposits, fixed deposits and unit trusts/funds in 2009 in building my portfolio.
Other than financial investments, I also invest actively in my own financial education. Again, this blog serves as a vehicle for me to share what I know or have learnt.
Contrary to the old saying, ignorance is never bliss, at least not in the financial context.
This is my belief. I also believe that financial education is best started from young. One day, I hope to move beyond sharing my knowledge with this blog.
