It is becoming my habit to relax at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf whenever I am feeling down.
And today, I decided to visit one of my favourite hangouts.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has this prepaid card that you can buy that awards you points for every purchase. You can accumulate and redeem the points if you patronise them enough.
My prepaid card doesn’t have enough stored value for my drink so I had to top it up. The minimum top up amount is $20. This would probably last you 3 drinks before you need to top up again.
I used my UOB card (the one that allows SMART$ to be awarded) for the top up and is pleasantly surprised to find $2 worth of SMART$ was awarded for my $20 top up. This is a 10% equivalent of rebate! This is a very good percentage rebate in my opinion.
